And by the way...

...who are the idiots who gave the Golden Globe for Best Drama to Gray's Anatomy? Unless the skinny chick was forced to pop a cap in McSteamy or the Asian chick to save America at some point during the last season, it is absolutely not the best drama on television. Maybe it's me. Maybe I missed that episode. Or it could just be that Gray's Bits 'n Pieces deserved the Globe. After all, the blonde chick wouldn't cash the check that the guy she was engaged to for ten minutes willed to her. OOOOOOH. How dramatic. Ya know what? Jack Bauer chopped Chase's arm off to save his life. He faked his own death. He survived two years being tortured in a Chinese prison. And I'm supposed to give a damn that Gray has to decide if she's more attracted to Chris O'Donnell or Patrick Dempsey? Please.

Hell, they can keep their Golden Globe. It's no Emmy. And we all know who has a few of those...

Get over it! 24 has been essentially the same for years... there is no emotional depth, no different issues to deal with really. Grey's Anatomy features not only the best Ensemble since The West Wing, but also a varied emotional storyline that keeps the viewer in a constand emotional state (especially when viewed in a marathon format with 2 seasons in 2 days, like I did.). 24 has Jack... thats all.Kiefer deserves awards, the show itself does not.

Are you out of your mind?

24 is lined with stars. I could name off at least five or six actors more accomplished than anyone on Gray's Anatomy: Kiefer Sutherland, Dennis Haysbert, Dennis Hopper, Elisha Cuthbert, Xander Berkeley, Gregory Itzin...Who's on Gray's Anatomy? Patrick Dempsey? Has he even done anything since Can't Buy Me Love? He only got the job because Rob Lowe turned it down. Although, I have to give Ellen Pompeo for her dazzling performances in Daredevil and Old School.

And the many intertwined storylines in the show have much greater depth than Gray. Forget about Jack for a minute. What about President Logan's betrayal? Or Nina Meyers? Or the political drama that ensues in each season with Presidents Palmer, Keeler and Logan? Or the relationship between Tony Almeida and Michelle Dessler? The Jack-Audrey-Paul triangle? Shoot, even the romance angles in 24 are better executed than Gray's Anatomy. I mean, if you really want to waste a Golden Globe on ER regurgitated, only with skinnier actresses and less believable plots, then I guess you could be satisfied with that.
