All in favor of a nuclear holocaust?

The Pew Research Center just released their annual report on global opinion. So let me get this straight:

45% of Jordanians and 44% of Egyptians favor Iran developing nuclear weapons (see p. 2). At the same time, 65% of Jordanians and 61% of Egyptians believe that Iran would use nuclear weapons to attack Israel (p. 19).

Man, that's f'd up.

The overlap in the percentages is really scary. But it corresponds nicely to the 72% of Americans between 18-24 who can't pick either country out on a map. Perhaps if Israel glowed green for a millenia it would be easier.

They're just slightly confused. You know, supporting the Arab nation and all. Oh wait! That's the same nation that will probably use those weapons. Shit!

You know, completely logical...

I don't know of any Iranians who read TL, so just to be fair, in their absence, I think I should point out that Iran is Persian...;o)
