Our pal Saudi Arabia
You might recall Pakistan's Hudood Ordinance getting some media attention last year. The Hudood Ordinance is an enactment of Shari'a law requiring that a woman charging rape provide four male eyewitnesses to prove her case or risk being prosecuted for adultery.
Well, now you can see Shari'a law in action in Saudi Arabia, where a teenage gang-rape victim was recently sentenced to 90 lashes for being alone with a man she was not related to. By the way, five of the seven men who raped her at knife point were given sentences ranging from ten months to five years. They apparently weren't convicted of rape specifically, however, because there were no witnesses and the men recanted their confessions.
