Does anyone else...
...find it a little odd that the metaphorical screen used to keep a newly-hired attorney from working on a case on which he would have a successive conflict of interest is still called a "Chinese wall"? I would think that would be a taboo term by now. Should this not be updated to Asian American wall? Still kinda fuzzy on the rules here. Please advise.

I will leave it up to you to figure out just why this came into my head..
Did you notice in NY the trouble one of the candidates for senator in 2006 got himself into by saying one of the others didn't have a Chinaman's chance? The media is all over the guy. Yours is the only comment I've read on the Chinese wall. I guess people figure a wall can't be offended.
"Across this line, you DO NOT... Also, dude, chinaman is not the preferred nomenclature. Asian-American, please."
